A concept furniture brand identity built to feel as considered as the pieces themselves.
The brief was to create a logo for a modern furniture maker that would be as thoughtful as the craftsmanship behind the pieces.
Formist is a concept brand focused on smooth, modern, wood-crafted furniture. There is no actual business behind it—just the challenge of designing a logo and brand toolkit that could truly reflect that level of craftsmanship. The identity had to show both precision and warmth, just like the furniture itself.

A geometric sans-serif mark that mirrors the graceful contours of the furniture itself.
We crafted the identity with a geometric sans-serif typeface, embracing the furniture’s crisp lines and thoughtful proportions, so the logotype naturally felt at home among the pieces it represents.

A brand as clear and distinctive as the furniture it represents.
Even before a single chair appears, the typeface whispers furniture: sharp where the joinery is sharp, soft where the upholstery curves, so the logo and the pieces speak in unison.
