Brand Identity Package

Your brand should be as good as what you have built.

We build brand identities from the inside out. From deep investigation into what makes your business singular, expressed through a visual and verbal system that will still be right in ten years.

Our Approach

We start with what is true, not what is trending.

Most studios reach for trend references and mood boards. We reach for something deeper: the archetype of the brand, the genuine competitive landscape, the things you say about your own work that you have not yet found the language to express.

From that investigation, we build a visual and verbal system that feels inevitable — not like something we designed, but like something your brand always was. And because it is built on something true, it does not need to be redesigned in four years when the aesthetic it was built on has moved on.

“When the investigation is rigorous, the creative work has a quality of inevitability.”

What's included

A complete brand identity, built to function from day one and last for years.

Every component exists because it is necessary. Nothing is included for the sake of it; nothing essential is left out.

Brand strategy and positioning
The strategic foundation everything else is built on. Your mission, vision, and core values articulated with precision. Your target audience defined not just demographically but psychographically — who they are, what they believe, what they want to feel when they encounter your brand. Your market position mapped against competitors. The single most important thing your brand stands for, expressed in language that will guide every creative decision that follows.
Competitive landscape analysis
A structured analysis of how your competitors present themselves — their visual languages, their verbal registers, their archetypal positions — so we can identify exactly where the white space is and what visual and verbal territory is authentically available to your brand. This is the research that prevents your brand from looking like an expensive version of what already exists in your category.
Archetype and brand character definition
The deep character work that separates a brand built on investigation from one built on aesthetic preference. We identify the archetype — or blend of archetypes — that authentically represents your brand's character and resonates with your audience at a psychological level that goes deeper than visual style. This becomes the invisible logic that makes every creative decision feel coherent and inevitable.
Verbal identity and messaging framework
Your brand's voice, tone, and the language it uses to describe itself. A messaging hierarchy that moves from the core brand promise down through proof points and messaging variations for different audiences and contexts. A tagline or brand statement developed from the strategy. The verbal identity ensures your brand communicates with the same character in writing as it does visually — so every piece of copy your team writes, and every piece of content your brand publishes, sounds like it comes from the same place.
Visual identity system
The complete visual language of your brand: primary logo and logo variations, wordmark, colour palette with full usage specifications, typography system (primary and secondary typefaces with usage hierarchy), graphic language elements (patterns, textures, illustrative styles, iconographic direction), imagery direction and art direction guidelines. Every element designed in relation to every other element, as a system — not a collection of independently made decisions that happen to coexist.
Brand guidelines
The comprehensive documentation that makes your brand reproducible by anyone who needs to use it: your team, your agency partners, your designers, your printers. Covers visual identity usage rules, colour specifications (RGB, CMYK, Pantone, HEX), typography application, logo clear space and minimum size, photography and imagery direction, voice and tone guidelines, and examples of correct and incorrect application. Delivered in Figma and PDF. This document is the reason your brand stays consistent after the project ends.
Application design
Your brand applied to the surfaces that matter most to your specific business. Typically includes: business card and stationery design, email signature, presentation template master, social media profile design and post templates, and one additional surface relevant to your business (a proposal cover, a report template, a key marketing document). These applications demonstrate how the identity works in the real world and give your team production-ready files to begin using immediately.
Quickstart guide
A practical, concise guide to using your new brand identity from day one. How to access your assets, which files to use where, how to apply the visual system across the most common tasks your team will face. Written for the people who will actually be using the brand — not designers — so that the quality of the work we produce together is maintained in everything your team creates afterward.
Why It Lasts

The brand you build today should still be right in ten years.

Most brands date — built on a trend that cycles out — or drift, as accumulated independent decisions erode the identity over time. Both failure modes have the same root: surface choices rather than structural truth.A brand built on archetype and genuine competitive differentiation does not date, because timeless character has no trend cycle. It does not drift, because it has an internal logic everyone who uses it can feel.

the process

Eight to sixteen weeks. Every step earned.

We take on a limited number of brand identity projects each year. Not because we cannot handle more, but because this kind of work — the deep investigation, the competitive analysis, the archetype work, the creative development — cannot be done well at volume. Each engagement receives the full attention it requires.

 Book a call
Phase 1: Discovery (Weeks 1–2)
An immersive intake process involving structured stakeholder interviews, a written discovery questionnaire, and a series of exercises designed to surface the intuitions and beliefs your team holds about the brand that have not yet been formalised. We also conduct an initial audit of your existing brand materials and your competitive landscape at this stage.
Phase 2: Strategy and Positioning (Weeks 3–4)
We synthesise the discovery findings into the strategic foundation of the brand: the positioning statement, the audience definition, the competitive differentiation, and the archetype and brand character framework. This is delivered as a strategy document that you review and approve before creative work begins. The strategy is the brief — and it is a brief we write together, not one we receive from you.
Phase 3: Creative Development (Weeks 5–10)
The full creative process: visual identity concept development, verbal identity development, and the iterative refinement that moves the work from concept to complete system. You receive a creative presentation at the concept stage — typically two or three distinct directions that each express the brand character differently — and we develop the chosen direction through two structured rounds of refinement before final delivery.
Phase 4: Application and Guidelines (Weeks 11–14)
The visual identity is applied to the application suite — stationery, templates, social, and the additional surfaces specific to your business. Brand guidelines are produced in full. The Quickstart guide is written. All assets are organised, named, and packaged for handoff.
Phase 5: Handoff and Aftercare (Weeks 15–16)
A final presentation and walkthrough of all deliverables. We provide a handoff session — either a call or a recorded walkthrough — so your team understands how to use every asset. We are available for questions in the thirty days following handoff at no additional charge. For ongoing creative support after the project, the Creative Partner Plan is the most natural continuation.
Who is this for

The right fit matters to us as much as it does to you.

We are selective about the projects we take on not because we are precious about the work, but because a brand identity engagement at this depth only produces its best outcome when the right conditions exist. The conditions we look for:

You have something worth building a brand for

A genuine business with a differentiated point of view. Brand identity amplifies what is real.

You are ready to be investigated

Deep questionnaires, stakeholder interviews, and strategic feedback before any visual work begins.

You can commit to the timeline

Eight to sixteen weeks of consistent engagement — timely feedback, stakeholder access, shared clarity.

You are investing, not shopping

The cost of a weak brand is always higher than the cost of doing it right the first time.

They have a strong ability to take complex information and translate it visually with real clarity, often turning things around with impressive speed. Sometimes we'd workshop ideas together, and other times I could hand things off entirely, knowing they'd deliver exactly what I needed without any back and forth. That kind of trust is hard to come by, which is why I knew I could rely on them as I moved into new roles."

Things worth knowing before we begin.

What makes the Brand Identity Package different from just getting a logo designed?

A logo is one element of a brand identity — typically the mark or wordmark that anchors the visual system. The Brand Identity Package builds everything the logo lives within: the strategy that defines what the brand stands for, the verbal identity that shapes how it communicates, the full visual system (colour, typography, graphic language, imagery direction) that makes the logo coherent, and the guidelines that enable your team to apply all of it consistently. A logo without these things is a symbol without a system. A brand identity with these things is an asset that compounds in value as your business grows.

let’s talk

You have built something worth presenting properly. Let us help you do that.

The Brand Identity Package is the deepest engagement we offer. It begins with a consultation — a conversation in which we learn about your business, your ambitions, and what you are hoping a brand identity will do for you. There is no obligation after that conversation, only clarity about whether this is the right engagement for where you are.
