Three ways to work together.

Creative services built to help your brand stand out, connect with your audience, and grow with confidence.

Direction first

We identify what needs to be said and to whom before we decide how it looks. The brief is never enough on its own.

Then we build it properly

Design, production, and delivery handled with the same level of care, whether it is a brand system or a single social post.

Brand Identity & Art Direction

Creative Strategy

Creative Strategy is where we build brand identity from the ground up: positioning, verbal identity, and a visual system that holds up because it is built on something true. This is for businesses at a defining moment, a launch, a rebrand, an investor narrative, that need the full weight of strategic and creative thinking behind the work. We investigate before we design, then build guidelines and applications your team can use with confidence for years, not months. Not every need requires a full strategic engagement. Sometimes you have something specific that needs to be extraordinary. Done properly, on time, with no back and forth. The Studio Edit is our production entry point: one high-impact creative deliverable, a pitch deck, sales deck, annual report, brochure, campaign asset suite, infographic series, or whatever your business needs to look its best right now, executed with the same care and quality as everything else we make.

Our process

The creative flow

Our client-centric process.

Discovery & concept
In this phase, we explore new ideas and gather insights. Through hands-on workshops and careful review, we learn about your current situation. By the end, we develop creative concepts that guide the project forward.
Strategy & direction
Next, we create brand strategies and design visual elements to make your ideas real. We turn concepts into clear plans, define your brand identity, set content direction, and outline technical details.
Production
We bring concepts to life through iterative sprints. At each step, we carefully review our work to ensure the final results meet your expectations.
Aftercare
After your project launches, we continue to support you. We help resolve issues, make updates, and offer advice to ensure you get the best results. We aim to build a long-term partnership based on trust and teamwork.

Our most frequently asked questions

Who is Saije Studio?

Saije Studio is a Toronto-based design studio specialising in brand identity, visual identity, website design, and ongoing creative support. We work with growth-stage businesses and established companies across hospitality, technology, finance, healthcare, beauty, and entertainment. We think like your business, not like a vendor.

How is Saije different from a freelancer or a large agency?

Freelancers offer flexibility but rarely carry the strategic depth or bandwidth for ongoing work. Large agencies carry overhead that shows up in your invoices. Saije sits between the two: a senior-led creative team with the range of a full agency and the accountability of a dedicated partner. The same people work your account consistently, and they accumulate knowledge of your brand over time rather than starting fresh on every project.

How many clients do you work with at one time?

We are selective about the number of active engagements we take on. That is intentional. The quality of the work depends on the attention we give it, and we do not scale at the expense of that standard. If we are at capacity when you reach out, we will tell you honestly and discuss timing.

Where is the team based?

We are headquartered in Toronto, Canada and work with clients across North America. Our team operates remotely, which means turnaround times are not constrained by geography or a single time zone.

What industries do you work with?

Honestly, most of them. We have a strong presence working with enterprise-level technology companies, and a genuine love for the energy of startups and SMBs who are building something real. Hospitality, finance, healthcare, beauty, entertainment — the industry matters less than the ambition behind the work. If you have a vision, a clear need, and you treat people well, we are interested in the conversation.

What types of design work do you handle?

If it is designed, needs visual clarity, or requires visual storytelling, we can help. That covers bothstrategic direction and production work. On the strategy side: brand identity, competitive positioning, archetype development, creative direction, and campaign concepting. On the production side: digital and print design acrossevery format including social media, presentations, websites, brand collateral, infographics, packaging, ad creative, and event materials. We also support video initiatives through a network of trusted production partners we have worked with closely over time.

Can you help if we already have a brand but need ongoing design support?

Yes, and this is one of the most common ways we engage. The Creative Partner Plan is built specifically for businesses with an established brand that need consistent, high-quality creative output on an ongoing basis. We onboard your brand thoroughly at the start so the work reflects your identity from the first deliverable.

What is the difference between the Studio Edit and the Creative Direction engagement?

The Studio Edit is a production engagement: one specific high-impact deliverable, scoped clearly, delivered in five to seven business days. Creative Direction is a strategic engagement: deep investigation, archetype work, and the full thinking-led process that produces brand identity systems, campaign visual worlds, or investor narratives. The Studio Edit is for when you know what you need. Creative Direction is for when you need to figure out what is true about your brand before you design anything.

What is the Creative Partner Plan?

The CPP is a monthlycredit-based subscription that gives you Saije Studio as your embedded creativeteam. Credits apply across every service we offer. The same team works youraccount consistently, learns your brand, and produces work without needing tobe briefed from scratch each time. It is designed for businesses that needgreat creative consistently, not occasionally.

Do you work on both digital and print projects?

Yes. We design for every format your brand appears in: websites, social media, presentations, digital ads, print collateral, packaging, event materials, and more. Every file is delivered in the correct specifications for its intended use, whether that is screen or print production.

How do revisions work?

It depends on how we are working together. Fixed-price projects include two structured rounds of revisions. Time-and-materials projects include unlimited revisions, billed accordingly. CPP partners receive unlimited revisions as part of every plan. Across all three, we invest time in understanding the brief properly before we begin, so the first round tends to arrive closer to right than most clients expect.

Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?

Yes. If your brand identity is already established, we work from your guidelines and apply them precisely. We do not impose our own aesthetic preferences when you already have a defined visual system. If your guidelines are incomplete or undocumented, we can work from what you have and flag any gaps that are creating inconsistency in your current output.

How does pricing work?

We offer three engagement models. The Studio Edit is a fixed-price production engagement for a single deliverable. Creative Direction engagements are scoped individually based on the depth of strategic and creative work required. The Creative Partner Plan is a monthly credit subscription starting at $2,580 CAD per month. All pricing is confirmed in writing before any work begins.

Do you charge by the hour or by project?

For the Studio Edit and Creative Direction engagements, we price by project scope rather than by the hour. This means you know the investment before we start and there are no surprises at delivery. The Creative Partner Plan operates on a monthly credit model where credits are applied to work as it is produced.

What is included in a proposal?

Every proposal includes a clear description of the deliverables, the timeline, the investment, the revision structure, and the payment milestones. There are no hidden fees. If scope needs to change during a project, we have that conversation explicitly and agree on any additional cost before proceeding. Nothing is added to an invoice that was not discussed first.

How do payment terms work?

Project-based engagements are structured across milestones: typically 50% at project start and 50% at delivery, or thirds for larger engagements. CPP plans are invoiced monthly at the start of each billing period. All invoices are due within 14 days of issue.

What if I need more credits than my plan includes?

Top-up credits are available at your current CPP rate. You can also access next month's credits early at no additional cost if you have a deadline or a particularly heavy period. Your project manager tracks usage in real time and will flag if you are approaching your allocation.

Do you offer discounts for longer commitments?

CPP partners on annual plans receive up to 20% additional credit value compared to month-to-month plans. For project-based work, we do not typically offer discounts, but we do offer flexible payment structures for larger engagements where that is helpful.

What happens if I need to pause or stop a project?

We handle this on a case-by-case basis with transparency. For project-based work, if a project needs to pause, we invoice for work completed to that point and hold all assets until the project resumes. For CPP plans, pauses of up to 20 business days per term are available with reasonable notice. We would rather find a workable solution than have a project end badly for either side.
